Marketing Executive

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Marketing Executive’s role is to provide high-quality administrative, communication and marketing assistance contributing to the Group’s business development strategy

Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule appointments for Business Development Executives and Managers;
  • Act as the point of contact between executives and employees/clients;
  • Follow through client and partner onboarding;
  • Organise and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
  • Facilitate internal communication (e.g. distribute information and schedule presentations);
  • Suggest more efficient ways to run the office and troubleshoot malfunctions;
  • Create regular reports, maintain and update internal databases;
  • Maintain the company’s website, social media pages and job posting;
  • Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and e-newsletters which will be used for internal and external communication;
  • Liaise with designers, printers suppliers and partnering organisations;
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • In tandem with the rest of the team evaluate marketing campaigns;

Requirements
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent time management skills and able to multitask;
  • Must be highly meticulous, organised and have attention to detail;
  • Be dynamic and able to work on own initiative and independently;
  • A good knowledge of spoken and written Maltese and English is a must; and
  • A degree in Communication or Marketing or related field.

Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Operations Manager will be involved in the administrative operations of the international services team.  This position is responsible for managing all business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible within the team.  The Operations Manager will directly report to the Partner, Tax & International Client Services.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure administrative workflows are adhered to;
  • Analyse and organize office operations and procedures to increase efficiency;
  • Liaise with the Partner to execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the needs of the business;
  • Resolve challenges posed by operational issues by analysing information; identifying and providing solutions;
  • Create and compile statistical data generated from reports and systems, compiling the necessary information and analysis for management review; and
  • Engage in any other duty commensurate with the role.
 Knowledge, skills and experience
  • University graduate with financial background;
  • 3+ years’ work experience within the financial services industry ideally with a Company Service Provider;
  • Budget development and oversight experience;
  • Have experience of using the main IT software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Possess outstanding English language skills – both spoken and written;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization;
  • Leadership and organizational skills;

IT Administrator

Our Firm is seeking to recruit a capable and highly motivated IT Administrator who will be responsible for the configuration and support of all our computer systems. This is a position that will attract individuals who are hands-on problem solvers with the ability to come up with creative and practical technical solutions and who are constantly updating their knowledge of the developments in the IT industry. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced but supportive office environment, delivering cost-effective and timely solutions, then you will fit well within our Firm’s culture.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for users both on hardware and software related issues including ERP software;
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system, application, hardware and network connectivity issues;
  • Install and test software and hardware devices and deploy to live environment once satisfied with results;
  • Manage configuration of both client and server based operating systems, utility programs and application software;
  • Be responsible for user and rights management;
  • Monitor systems health and respond immediately to issues that might cause usability or security problems;
  • Review systems and application logs to detect possible issues as early as possible;
  • Create backup schedules and verify the integrity of such backups;
  • Keep software updated with the necessary updates and patches in a timely manner including the necessary firmware updates;
  • Ensure the proper operation of the infrastructure including firewalls, VMs, malware and anti-virus protection; and
  • Identify any possible future scaling or security concerns and come up with mitigation plans.
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in system administration in a Windows server/client environment;
  • Experience in the maintenance and administration of MS SQL databases;
  • Experience in VMware;
  • Have knowledge in networking, VLANs, VPNs and Active Directory;
  • Have knowledge in maintaining and testing disaster recovery and fail-over procedures;
  • Perform well under pressure and be willing to be on call after office hours;
  • Possess good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English; and
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks.
 Preferred skills
  • Preferably in possession of a degree in IT or other systems/network administration certifications such as MCSA and CCNA;
  • Experience in supporting ERP systems;
  • Experience in administering Office 365;
  • Experience in administering SharePoint; and
  • Experience with configuring and using Veeam.

Office Administrator/Personal Assistant

The Office Administrator/Personal Assistant provides support to the Partners and staff members within the department. The role involves the coordination and implementation of office procedures, which includes liaising with various teams within the Firm.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general administration duties;
  • Preparation of engagement letter to clients;
  • Issuing of invoices and chasing of debtors on a regular basis;
  • Keep databases updated, ensuring the necessary changes and amendments to data are regularly made;
  • Make accommodation arrangements for clients as required;
  • Engage in the booking of courses and conferences as required;
  • Ensure all documentation is filed in a systematic and organised manner;
  • Engage in the drafting of correspondence, preparation of reports and other documents;
  • Handle queries by phone and e-mail;

Client Liaison Officer – Russian speaking

The International Client Services Department at Nexia BT is seeking to recruit a Client Liaison Officer. The Client Liaison Officer shall provide a wide range of liaison and support services to international clients.

Main responsibilities
  • Acting as the client liaison on behalf of the Firm;
  • Assisting clients with relocation programmes;
  • Checking and verifying documentation;
  • Translating and interpreting to and from Russian and English;
  • Organising visit programmes and accompanying clients to meetings;
  • Ensuring the upkeep of accurate records;
  • Undertaking market research;

Accounts Team Leader

The Accounts Team Leader will be responsible for the review of work carried out by junior staff members. The ideal candidate will engage in meetings with clients, compile and analyse reports and mentor more junior staff in the accounting team within the Advisory Services unit.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating operations of the accounts team;
  • Completing all statutory returns and other ad-hoc reports as required;

Accounts Semi-Senior
