At Nexia BT, we pride ourselves on a low staff turnover. This is because we recognise that our people are our key assets. We believe in training and development programmes that are complemented with social activities and team-building events, all with the aim of promoting a healthy work-life balance.
As a dynamic and forward-thinking company, we are always on the lookout to recruit bright and ambitious people who are looking for challenging and motivating careers in a professional firm.
In return, we offer exciting development opportunities and excellent promotional prospects, along with the chance to work in a friendly and rewarding environment, as well as opportunities for personal development and growth. We support job training by organising internal training workshops or attending conferences and seminars, in order to enhance skills and competence of our employees.
The firm is an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Approved Employer since 2009
The ACCA Approved Employer status covers Trainee Development for individuals taking the ACCA Qualification and seeking membership of ACCA, as well as Practising Certificate Development for ACCA members who wish to obtain eligible experience for an ACCA practising certificate.
As part of the ACCA Qualification, trainees need to demonstrate that they have met a range of workplace performance objectives. As an Approved Employer certified to provide trainee development at the platinum level, Nexia BT has demonstrated to ACCA that it meets global best practice in the provision of work-based opportunities for trainees, and the same trainees would hence be eligible for certain exemptions from completing such performance objectives.
In 2012, the company was awarded the NCPE Equality Mark by the Maltese National Commission for the Promotion of Equality. The Equality Mark Certificate is awarded to companies/organisations who have gender equality included in their values, and whose management is based on the recognition and promotion of the potential of all employees – irrespective of their gender and caring responsibilities.
