    Lawyer – Financial Services

    Job Description

    An opportunity has arisen for an individual who has ample experience within the financial services industry and is also open to working in relation to blockchain technology and virtual financial assets. The applicant, apart from dealing with various tasks related to traditional financial services, shall also be exposed to the DLT industry and deal with some of the top companies and entities in the world in the said sector.

    Main Responsibilities
    • Liaising with clients dealing with licensable services under the Investment Services Act;
    • Handling applications filed under the Investment Services Act;
    • Preparation of prospectuses and other documentation in relation to the issuance of transferable securities;
    • Analysing coins/tokens and conducting the Financial Instruments Test in relation thereto;
    • Regulatory advice to clients or interested third parties;
    • Liaising with the regulatory authorities;
    • Drafting of contracts with, or on behalf, of clients;
    • General liaison with clients; and
    • Participation in international conferences.
    Preferred skills and experience
    • Be a qualified lawyer;
    • Have a minimum of five years’ post-qualification work experience as a practicing lawyer in relation to financial services;
    • Possess good verbal and written communication skills;
    • Be highly meticulous and organized;
    • Be proficient with MS Office; and
    • Be able to work on own initiative and be able to work in a team.
    • Preference will be given to those candidates who already have experience in relation to VFAs.

    Client Relationship Executive

    Job Description

    Position Summary

    Main Responsibilities
    • Assisting Partner in business development;
    • Acting as the client relationship executive on behalf of the Firm;
    • Checking and verifying documentation;
    • Ensuring the upkeep of accurate records;
    • Undertaking market research;
    • Attending seminars and conferences;
    • Possibility of attending business trips;
    • Performing routine administrative duties;
    • To liaise with staff in other departments as well as with external contacts; and
    • Engage in other duties commensurate with the role as required.
    Preferred skills and experience
    • University degree in business administration and/or business management;
    • 3 years’ experience in a similar role is required;
    • Be dynamic, highly organised, self-starter with a passion for professional and client service excellence;

    • Russian communication skills is a must;

    Client Liaison Officer – Russian Speaking

    Position Summary

    The Client Liaison Officer shall provide a wide range of liaison and support services to international clients.

    Main responsibilities
    • To act as the client liaison on behalf of the Firm;
    • To assist clients with relocation programme applications and related services;
    • To compile, review and verify necessary forms and documents;
    • To ensure complete and accurate maintenance of records;
    • Translating and interpreting to and from Russian and English;
    • To handle client visit agendas and to accompany clients to meetings;
    • To undertake market research and assist business development;
    • To perform routine administrative duties; and
    • To engage in other duties, commensurate with the role as required.
    Requirements
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
    • Strong inter-personal and customer relations skills;
    • Dynamic, highly organised, and target-driven, with a passion to deliver service excellence;
    • Overall resilience and the ability to work flexible and extended hours, when deemed necessary;
    • Experience and knowledge of the main IT software packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
    • Aspiration to operate in a hard-working, yet fun, multi-cultural team environment.
    Preferred skills and experience
    • Possession of a relevant University degree;
    • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role;

    Accounts Senior

    The selected candidate will be assigned a diverse portfolio of International clients, with varying accounting requirements. The Accounts Senior will make part of a dedicated team, providing assistance to junior staff, but at the same time receiving support as needed from management and other senior colleagues.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

    • Managing a portfolio of International clients;
    • Reviewing the work of junior and semi-senior staff;
    • Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts;
    • Preparing Financial Statements for audit, in accordance with applicable reporting standards;
    • Preparing and submitting VAT returns and recap statements;
    • Ensuring all deadlines are met;
    • Operating as an effective point of contact for all matters specific to the clients assigned; and
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
    Knowledge, skills and experience

    The ideal candidate should:

    • Be in possession of a University degree in accounts or an ACCA / ACA qualification, or in the final stages of ACCA / ACA;
    • Have an eye for detail and value quality service;
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Have a minimum of three years work experience in a similar position;
    • Be an excellent team player and able to mentor junior staff;
    • Be proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel); and
    • Be able to work both under pressure and on own initiative.
