The Junior within the Audit department is expected to meet client commitments on audit engagements by executing small and medium-sized engagements and completing audit files within the specified time frame of the engagement. The successful candidate is also expected to contribute and assist other team members to execute and complete large engagements to the highest standard expected of Nexia BT employees.
Induction and continuous training on our audit methodology, procedures and software used will be given to the successful candidate
The ideal candidate should:
- be in the process of achieving a University degree in accounts or an ACCA qualification;
- have a strong commitment to professional and client service excellence;
- have an eye for detail;
- have sound computer literacy;
- possess good communication skills – both spoken and written;
- demonstrate a positive, confident and decisive attitude in communicating with staff, clients and partners;
- be a good team player; and
- be able to manage multiple engagements.
